About me and LITB

Leave it to Barney is the name of a 2-minute or so segment I get to present Mondays and Fridays on NewsChannel 21 at 5pm in Bend, Oregon.

Two minutes sounds like a lot, but it goes by fast. Hence, this chance to tell more background, talk more often, and engage in dialogue outside the stressed newsroom, where I answer the phone like an attack dog at the end of his choker chain far too often.

Of course, I must state that any opinions shared in this blog are mine, only mine and in no way reflect the views of my employer or colleagues. It’s allll about me;-)

Welcome!

 Barney

  1. Hi Barney, just wanting to tell you I enjoy reading your blogs and also your Facebook postings. It’s well into January and nothing new? Hope all is well with you and family, especially your brother who you wrote about having a stroke. My older sister (she’s 68) we believe had a small stroke in may 2012. Her personality, thought process, handwriting, balance, all point to something having happened, but she insists she’s “F.I.N.E.” – what do you do with a loved one who is so stubborn and won’t get help?
just love them and try to help, I guess.

    1. Thanks and yeah, I always mean to blog but get so busy with the Website – and boy do I know about family health challenges, we’ve had more than our share in recent months. Thanks for touching base and the kind words!

  2. I agree, I know you see me and most likely have no wonder to who I am or what I’m about (or do you?;). but you interest me Barney, your a good writer, with a good heart.
But more so, I feel we’l have some sort of ‘run-in’ in time yet to pass 🙂
    see you there.
